Relaps je doprovodný jev závislosti na návykových látkách. Prevence relapsu je základním kamenem terapeutické práce s klientem. Tato práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, který se zaměřuje na vybraného klienta se závislostí na alkoholu. Cílem je zkoumání problematiky relapsu a prevence relapsu daného případu. Použitou metodou je v práci semistrukturované interwiew, zkoumání zdravotnické dokumentace, životní křivky, a vlastní pozorování. Cílem je zjistit okolnosti, které relapsům předcházely, jaký byl vývoj těchto jevů a co vedlo klienta k řešení nezvládnutých situací. Zaměřila jsem se i na vnímání situace klientem, jeho prožívání a cestu zpět k abstinenci. Věnuji se chronologickému průběhu nemoci a část je věnovaná i současnému stavu klienta. Relapse is a phenomenon frequently co-occurring in substance abuse and dependence. Relapse prevention is a cornerstone of therapeutical work with the clients. This thesis are built upon a qualitative research conducted on a case study of a client with alcohol dependence. The aim of this work is to study relapse related matters and relapse prevention problems in the given case. Semi-structured interview was used as the method of this research together with reviewing medical documentation, the life curve and direct observation of the client. The objectives are: to search the circumstances precluding the relapses, the development of these phenomena, and to identify what lead the client to deal with situations of failure. The work is also focused on the perception of the situations by the client and his way back to abstinence. The chronological development of the disease and the current condition of the client are described in respective parts of the thesis.
