Vývoj úrovně sňatečnosti ve vybraných mimoevropských zemích v 2. polovině 20. století Abstrakt Cílem práce je srovnání časování a intenzity sňatkového chování ve vybraných mimoevropských zemích v 2. polovině 20. století. Země byly vybrány ze všech kontinentů, hlavním kritériem však byla dostupnost vhodných dat. Tak se sice nepodařilo zajistit reprezentativnost dat za větší regiony, diferenciaci sňatkového chování a hlavní tendence však zachyceny byly. K analýze bylo použito podílu svobodných podle věku, průměrného sňatkového věku při prvním sňatku a případně i rozložení snoubenců podle věku při sňatku. Práce prokázala, že ve většině studovaných zemí došlo od 70. let 20. století k posunu časování sňatků do pozdějšího věku nevěst a že na hodnoty sňatkového věku má vliv mimo jiné i úroveň gramotnosti v dané zemi, neboť s vyšší úrovní gramotnosti se zvyšuje sňatkový věk. Celková intenzita sňatečnosti je také do značné míry ovlivněna rostoucím počtem nesezdaných soužití a tato okolnost se nejvíce odrazila ve vývoji sňatkového chování v zemích Jižní Ameriky. Changes in nuptiality in chosen non-European countries in the 2nd half of the 20th century Abstract The main aim of this thesis is to compare timing and intensity of nuptiality in chosen non-European countries in the 2nd half of 20th century. Surveyed countries were chosen from all continents. The main criterion was availability of suitable data. The choice cannot be generalized for whole continents. But the differentiation of nuptiality and the most important trends were described. The analyse contains the portion of single according to age, singulate mean age at first marriage and in some cases distribution of fiancés according to age. This thesis shows that there was a shift of timing of marriage to older age of bridegrooms in most of chosen countries in the 70s of the 20th century. However in South America situation was a little bit different because of the high portion of people who lived in cohabitations. Values of mean age at marriage are influenced by level of literacy. Total intensity of nuptiality is influenced by increasing level of cohabitations.
