Výchova ke zdraví ve vztahu k prevenci rakoviny prsu nebylo náhodně zvolené téma. K mému rozhodnutí přispělo to, že jsem se s tímto onemocněním setkala v rodině. Pročetla jsem a nasbírala mnoho informací. Existuje nepřeberné množství publikací, odkazů, sdružení, komerčních a mediálních projektů, přesto je diagnóza rakoviny prsu na předních místech v úmrtnosti nejen v České republice, ale celosvětově. V průběhu mapování informací jsem došla k závěru, že jediná prevence je včasná diagnostika a screening, na který jsem se v druhé části práce zaměřila. Výchova ke zdraví je ideální obor pro edukaci preventivního programu a jeho dalšího šíření. Proto doufám, že ucelené zpracování tématiky bude využíváno jako metodický materiál. Health Education in relation to Breast Cancer Prevention was not a topic chosen coincidentally. The fact that I encountered this illness in my own family contributed to my decision. I read over and collect a lot of information. There is an inexhaustible amount of publications, references, associations, commercial and medial projects, though the breast cancer diagnosis is on the top position of mortality causes not only in the Czech Republic but worldwide. In the course of collecting all data I found out that there exists the only prevention - early diagnostics and screening, on which I focused in the second part of my thesis. Health Education is the ideal instrument for preventive education programme and its further promotion. That is why I hope that comprehensive elaboration of this topic will be used as a methodological source.
