Tématem této práce Je problematika péče o geriatrického pacienta a spokojování jeho spirituálních potřeb ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Vzhledem k tomu, že spirituální, ale i biologické, psychické a sociální potřeby do značné míry souvisí se zdravotním stavem seniorů je značný prostor teoretické části věnován zvláštnostem onemocnění geriatrického pacienta. Důvodem je těsná provázanost všech rovin prožívání člověka ve vyšším věku. A topic of this work is care of geriatric patients and meeting their spiritual needs at the medical clinic. Regarding the fact that the spiritual but also biological, psychological and social needs relate largely to seniors' health condition, a large part of the theoretical section deals with distinctive features of geriatric patients' illness as all levels of a senior person's experience are largely interlinked.
