Práce je rozdělena na tři kapitoly. První dvě se klimakteriu věnují teoreticky a třetí prakticky. Klimakterium je zde vymezeno jako syndrom, popisuje pomocí dostupných informačních zdrojů jeho symptomy z hlediska biologického, psychického a sociálního a na základě jejich analýzy vymezuje sociální důsledky klimakteria. V praktické části jsou navržena možná opatření, která mohou ženě pomoci snižovat negativní sociální důsledky klimakteria. Dále jsou tato opatření porovnána s nabídkou na území města České Budějovice. Město České Budějovice částečně potřeby žen v klimakteriu pokrývá, ale chybí zde komplexní péče o tuto věkovou skupinu. This work is devided into three chapters. Theoretical part of the climacteric problem is resolved in the first two chapters, the third chapter is concern with practical part. Climacteric is there define as syndrome. This work is describing its symptomes by accessible sources of information from the biological, psychological and social view and on the base of these analysis it defines social sequels of climacteric. In the practical part, there are some proceedings proposed that could help the women reduce negative social consequences of the climacterium. Further, these proceedings are compared with the offer in the area of the city of České Budějovice. The city of České Budějovice partly covers the needs of women in climacterium but there is an absence of complex care of this age group.
