Tato práce se zabývá porovnáním vybraných částí ústavy Kanady a ústavy České republiky. Jde o moc zákonodárnou, Listiny práv a svobod a podmínky pro pozměňování ústav. Součástí práce je autorský překlad ústavy Kanady, která nebyla dosud k dispozici v češtině; text se nalézá v příloze na konci práce. Samotné komparaci předchází úvod do tématu, stručná historie Kanady a vývoj srovnávaných ústav. Práce se pokouší nalézt styčné body a upozornit na specifika obou právních dokumentů. Přibližuje českému prostředí některé právní předpisy, zvyklosti a problémy Kanady. Several parts of Constitution of Canada and Constitution of Czech republic are compared in this work - legislative power, Charters of Rights and Freedoms and conditions for constitutional amendments. Authorial translation of Constitution of Canada (never translated to Czech before) is a part of the work. There's an introduction to the theme and a brief history of Canada and both Constitutions in the work as well. The work tries to show some legal problems of Canada to Czech people.
