In my thesis which is on the theme {\clqq} Insurance in the section of tourist trade`` I compare individual kinds of insurance in tourist trade in the Czech Republic and in European Union. Tourist Trade Insurance is a service providing the security against the accidental (unpredictable) affairs for the travel clients. The insurance guarantees to client the right for the payment a sum of money related with the refund of costs incured by an accidental affair. For an accidental affair is considered every affair, which is reasonably presumed to happen, but in the time of insuring procedure the clients don´t know when it happens and if it really happens. Travel Insurance is an insepareble part of travelling abroad. The principle matter of Travel insurance is the refund of medical costs, in the case, when you got ill or injured in foreign country. The Health Insurane Office uses the insurance for repaying the costs for medical treatment, hospitalization, meidicine, unavoidable transportation etc. The insurance can be settled for optional time from one day till on year. V mé diplomové práci na téma {\clqq} Pojištění v oblasti cestovního ruchu`` se zabývám porovnáním jednotlivých druhů pojištění v cestovním ruchu v České republice a v Evropské unii. Pojištění v cestovním ruchu je služba, která má účastníky v cestovním ruchu zabezpečit před nahodilými (nepředvídanými) událostmi. Pojištěním se zajišťuje právo účastníka na výplatu peněžních prostředků souvisejících s úhradou výdajů, které mu z nahodilé události vznikly. Za nahodilou událost se považuje každá událost, o které účastníci pojištění důvodně předpokládají, že sice může nastat, ale v době vzniku pojištění nevědí, kdy se tak stane, případně, zda se tak vůbec stane. Základem cestovního pojištění je úhrada léčebných výloh v případě, že v zahraničí onemocníte nebo utrpíte úraz. Z tohoto pojištění za vás pojišťovna uhradí náklady za ošetření, hospitalizaci, léčení, výlohy na léky, nezbytné převozy apod. Pojistit se lze na libovolnou dobu od jednoho dne do jednoho roku.
