František Bohumil Doubek (1865 {--} 1952) {--} Život a dílo česko-bavorského malíře Bakalářská práce na téma František Bohumil Doubek {--} Život a dílo česko-bavorského malíře se zaměřuje na výraznou osobnost konce 19. a 1. poloviny 20. století. Tento českobudějovický rodák žijící dlouhá léta v Mnichově zanechal městu řadu významných prací, z nichž nejdůležitější je křížová cesta v chrámu sv. Mikuláše a portréty významných budějovických osobností (Dr. August Zátka, první volený starosta Otakar Svoboda, aj.) František Bohumil Doubek studoval nejprve na pražské Akademii a posléze přešel do Mnichova. Stejně jako většina jeho vrstevníků absolvoval několik studijních cest do zahraničí, z nichž největší dojem v něm zanechala Francie, kam se pak ještě několikrát vrátil. Po první světové válce se vrátil do Čech a několik let žil opět v Českých Budějovicích. Právě v této době vytvořil výše zmíněná, důležitá díla pro České Budějovice. Následně odešel do Prahy, kde vytvořil obrazy s náboženskou tematikou, portrét prezidenta Tomáše G. Masaryka a další. Na sklonku života odešel do Ústavu opatrovnické péče v Novém Jičíně, kde také 26. října 1952 zemřel. Pohřben byl na místním hřbitově v největší tichosti, za přítomnosti několika řádových sester a místního holiče. Cílem této práce je podat co nejpřesnější informace o Doubkově životě a ucelený seznam malířova životního díla. František Bohumil Doubek (1865 {--} 1952) {--} Life and work of the czech-bavarian painter The bachelor work on the theme František Bohumil Doubek {--} Life and work czech-bavarian painter is aimed at a distinct personality from the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century. This native from České Budějovice, which lived long years in München, left many significant productions to the city, of which the most important is the way of the Cross in the Saint Nicholas Cathedral and portraits of important budweiser characters ( Dr. August Zátka or the first elected mayor Otakar Svoboda,et al.). F.B.Doubek at first studied at Prague Academy and afterwards transfered to München. As well as majority of his equals he took several educational journies to foreign countries. France impressed him most and later he returned several times there. After the First World War he returned to Bohemia and lived several years in České Budějovice again. Just at this time he painted important works for České Budějovice, mentioned above. Later he left for Prague, where he painted another pictures with religious themes, portrait of president Thomas G. Masaryk etc. In the downhill of his life he left for Institute of guardian care in Nový Jičín, and he died 26 October 1952 there. He was buried on the local cemetery in ultimate quietness, in the presence of several nuns and local barber. The aim of this work is to give the most correct informations about Doubek´s life and to provide an integrated list of painter´s life work.
