Práce Humanitní versus technické vzdělá(vá)ní v ČR - analýza mediálního diskurzu v celostátních novinách (komparace diskurzu let 1990/1 a roku 2015) se snaží postihnout nejvýraznější rozdíly a podobnosti mezi dvěma mediálními diskurzy a také jejich proměnu v souvislosti s proměnou společnosti, ke které došlo následkem změny politického režimu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. V teoretické části práce je věnována pozornost proměně definic pojmů ve slovnících a encyklopediích. Dále se práce zaměřuje na diskuzi humanitního a technického vzdělání v českém a také v zahraničním prostředí. Pomocí kritické diskurzivní analýzy výzkumná část práce analyzuje diskurz oborů vzdělání v českých tištěných novinových článcích ze dvou období (z let 1990/1 a z roku 2015). Cílem práce je postihnout tyto dva diskurzy, jejich aktéry, hlavní témata a argumenty. Závěr empirické části tvoří komparace obou diskurzů a vystihnutí rozdílů a podobností mezi nimi. Klíčová slova: humanitní vzdělání, technické vzdělání, mediální diskurz, kritická diskurzivní analýza Diploma thesis The Humanities versus the Technical Education - The Analysis of the Media Discourse in Nationwide Czech Newspapers (Comparison of Discourse Produced in 1990/1 and 2015) is trying to cover the most significant differences and similarities between two media discourses and also their change related to a social transformation caused by the political transformation. This thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on a transformation of a definition of terms in dictionaries and encyclopaedias. The theoretical part also deals with the Humanities and Technical Education discussion not only in Czech but also abroad. By applying a critical discourse analysis the empirical part analyses an education discourse in Nationwide Czech Newspapers in the two periods (in 1990/1 and in 2015). A goal of this thesis is cover these two discourses, social actors, main themes and arguments. The conclusion of the empirical part is made of a comparison of these discourses and of a demonstration of the differences and similarities.
