[cze][eng] Růstové grafy tělesných rozměrů, a to především délky a hmotnosti, jsou důležitou pomůckou hodnocení správného růstu a vývoje dětí v pediatrii. Interpretace růstové křivky kojených dětí, a tím posouzení přiměřené výživy a případné zavedení kojenecké mléčné výživy nebo příkrmu, je velmi závislé na adekvátnosti referenčních údajů. Na základě předběžných studií Státního zdravotního ústavu (11) byla vyslovena hypotéza o rozdílnosti aktualizovaných růstových standardů Světové zdravotnické organizace (SZO) publikovaných v roce 2006 (19) a v současnosti používaných referenčních grafů pro české děti, vycházejících z 5. a 6. celostátního antropologického výzkumu (6,16). Automatické přijetí těchto nových referenčních údajů SZO a posuzování růstu kojených dětí vzhledem k těmto referenčním údajům by vedlo k nesprávnému hodnocení růstu kojených dětí, a tím k neopodstatněnému a předčasnému zavádění kojenecké mléčné výživy nebo příkrmu. Předpokládaný pomalejší růst zdravých kojených českých dětí, a to především menší nárůst hmotnosti do šestého měsíce života oproti výsledkům studie SZO, by vedl k zbytečnému zavádění kojenecké mléčné výživy, popřípadě příkrmu, a byl by tak v nesouladu s výhodami plného a dlouhodobého kojení, a tím i v kontrastu s mezinárodními doporučeními SZO. Interpretation of the growth curves of breastfed children, and the assessment of adequate nutrition and the possible introduction of milk formula or complementary food is highly dependent on adequacy of reference data. Based on preliminary studies, the National Health Institute (11) was expressed hypothesis about differences in standards-date growth of the World Health Organization (WHO) published in 2006 (19) and is currently of the reference charts for Czech children, based on 5 and 6national anthropological research (6,16). Automatic acceptance of these new reference WHO data and assessing the growth of breastfed children due to the following reference data would lead to incorrect assessment of growth of breastfed infants, and thus unjustified and premature introduction of milk formula or complementary food. Expected slower growth of healthy breast-fed Czech children, and smaller weight gain especially in the sixth month of life compared to the results WHO study, would lead to the unnecessary introduction of milk formula, or complementary food, and so would be inconsistent with full benefits and long-term breastfeeding, and thus in contrast with the...
