Práce se zabývá problematikou vzdělávání romských dětí a doučováním, které je realizováno v Komunitním a edukačním centru Maják v Kutné Hoře. Teoretická část je vymezena k charakteristice romského etnika v České Republice a Kutnohorské lokality až po problematiku vzdělávání romských dětí. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky dotazníků vyplněných klienty Komunitního a edukačního centra Maják v Kutné Hoře, kteří zde využívají službu doučování. Z těchto výsledků vyplývá, že naprostá většina romských dětí potřebuje znovu vysvětlit látku, kterou probírají ve škole. Dále bylo zjištěno, že se děti jinde než na kroužku doučování neučí a tuto službu považují za pomoc. Ukázalo se, že téměř u všech došlo k prokazatelnému zlepšení školního prospěchu. The work deals with the issue of gipsy children education and their additional teaching provided by the Community and education centre {\clqq}Lighthouse`` in Kutná Hora town. The first teoretic part ranges from characteristics of gipsy ethnic in the Czech Republic and Kutná Hora region to the issue of gipsy children education. The practical part includes the results of questionnaires filled in by clients of Community and education centre {\clqq}Lighthouse`` in Kutná Hora town who benefit from the additional afternoon teaching service there. These results shows that the vast majority of gipsy children is in the need of re-explanation of the lessons taken in the school. The next finding is that the gipsy children do not prepare themselves for next day lessons, except these additional afternoon lessons and that they take this service as a kind of help for them. There was a significant improvement of school marks of almost all gipsy children in the school as the result of this service.
