Práce se zabývá oblastí životního pojištění jako produktu pojišťovnictví a bankovnictví. Vysvětluje význam životního pojištění, popisuje jeho typy a analyzuje soudobé použití těchto produktů. Je zde přehled o trhu životního pojištění v České Republice. Významnou součástí práce je vlastní výzkum zaměřený na porovnání nabídky rizikového životního pojištění jednotlivých pojišťoven v České republice. Na závěr je uvedeno doporučení pro rozvoj životního pojištění. Dissertation is engaged in the sphere of life insurance as a product of insurance business and banking. This work demonstrates the significance of life insurance and describes types of life insurance and analyzes co-temporary development of these products. There is a review of the market in Czech Republic. The own research focused on the comparison of the offer of term assurances of particular insurers is the important part of the thesis. Finally is the recommendation for the expansion of this type of insurance included.
