Přizpůsobení architektury kořenového systému je jednou z možných reakcí rostliny na stresové působení okolních podmínek. Tvar kořenového systému spoluvytváří aktivita kořenových apikláních meristémů, míra elongace buněk kořene a rozsah tvorby, vývoje a uspořádání postranních a adventivních kořenů. Tato práce má za cíl popsat základní mechanismy vývoje kořenového systému a z morfologického a regulačního hlediska nastínit změny, které v tomto vývoji nastávají při působení vybraných stresových faktorů. The root system architecture adjustment is one of the possible plant reactions to stress effects of environmental conditions. The shape of root system is jointly formed by the root apical meristem activity, the rate of elongation of root cells and by the degree of formation, developement and organization of secondary and adventitious roots. This paper aims to describe basic mechanisms of the root system developement and outline the morphological and regulatory changes occuring during development while being affected by selected stress factors.
