Kutná Hora a její okolí je oblast, postižená těžbou Ag, později Pb - Zn rud, trvající několik století. Důsledkem těžby jsou extrémní koncentrace některých prvků, především As, ve vodách, půdách i rostlinách, na ní rostoucích. Cílem této práce bylo studium prvkového složení půd a letokruhů, včetně procesů probíhajících mezi půdou a rostlinami na kontaminované i nekontaminované lokalitě. Prvkové složení (V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, As, Cd, Sb, Tl, Pb) bylo stanoveno v půdách a letokruzích borovice lesní (Pinus sylvestris) pomocí ICP - MS. Naměřené koncentrace prvků ukazují na znečištění půd i letokruhů vlivem důlní a hutnické činnosti. Nejvyšší koncentrace As v půdě byly zjištěny na kontaminované lokalitě (Kaňk), hodnota As v hloubce 40 - 50 cm dosahovala 14 977 mg/kg. Důvodem je situování lokality na haldy, kde byly ukládány odpady z těžby a zpracování rud, společně s minerály obsahující As a jejich zvětráváním došlo ke kontaminaci půd. Na nekontaminované lokalitě (Sukov) byla naměřena maximální koncentrace As v půdě 124,38 mg/kg v hloubce 5 - 10 cm. Důvodem je kontaminace lokality prachem z okolí, kdy vzdálenost k lokalitě Kaňk je 1,2 km. Nejvyšší koncentrace As v letokruzích byly naměřeny na kontaminované lokalitě (Kaňk), kde hodnota As v kůře vzorku K 2/12 byla 2,12 mg/kg. Na nekontaminované... As a result of mining, extreme concentrations of heavy metals and metalloids, especially As, in waters, soils and plants are. The aim of this work was to study the elemental composition of soils and tree rings, including processes between soil and plants on contaminated and uncontaminated area to describe biogeochemical processes between soil and plants. Elemental composition (V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, As, Cd, Sb, Tl, Pb) were determined in soils and tree rings of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) using ICP - MS. The measured concentrations of elements indicate contamination of soils and tree rings due to mining and metallurgical activities. The highest concentrations of As in soil (14 977 mg/kg) were found at contaminated site (Kaňk) at depth of 40 - 50 cm. This locality is situated on the heap, where waste from the mining and processing of ores are deposited, together with minerals and weathering products containing As. The uncontaminated area (Sukov) exhibited the maximum concentration of As in soils 124,38 mg/kg at a depth of 5 - 10 cm, due to the contamination by dust from the contamined sites.
