Sochy Ctností a Neřestí v areálu špitálu v Kuksu patří nejvýznamnější díla sochaře českého vrcholného baroka Matyáše Bernarda Brauna. V dosavadní literatuře se však její autoři podrobnému ikonografickému rozboru věnovali jen málo.Cílem práce Marcely Vodrážkové tedy bude nalezení co nejbližších grafických předloh, které mohly sloužit Braunovi při vytváření ojedinělého sochařského souboru. The sculptures named "Virtues and Depravities", situated in the hospital area in Kuks, belong to the most acknowledged works by the Czech sculptor Matyáš Bernard Braun, a representative of the Baroque era. In the literature concerning this work of art, only little information has been published on the iconography of the sculptures. The aim of the Batchelor Work by Marcela Vodrážková is to find graphics which could have served as a pattern for Braun while making his unique set of sculptures.
