Příčné překážky, zejména přehrady, mají na přirozené vodní toky a v nich přítomná společenstva ryb výrazný vliv. Kaprovité druhy z vodních nádrží migrují proti proudu do oblastí přítoků, kde mohou měnit trofickou strukturu původních rybích společenstev. Cílem této práce bylo za využití metody analýzy stabilních izotopů popsat trofickou strukturu společenstva složeného převážně z kaprovitých a lososovitých druhů ryb na sedmi lokalitách na horním toku řeky Vltavy nad vodní nádrží Lipno. Byla určena trofická úroveň a šířka trofické niky jednotlivých druhů na lokalitách a vypočten překryv trofických nik. Následně bylo srovnáno postavení jednotlivých druhů v potravní síti a vyhodnocena možná potravní konkurence. Lososovité druhy měly širší trofické niky než druhy kaprovité a byl pozorován překryv jejich trofických nik s kaprovitými druhy, a to zejména s nikou jelce proudníka Leuciscus Leuciscus a plotice obecné Rutilus rutilus, což naznačuje potenciální konkurenci o potravu. Vliv přítomnosti kaprovitých druhů na šířku trofických nik lososovitých druhů se neukázal být statisticky významný. Z hlediska ochrany původních lososovitých druhů ryb by měla být pozornost zaměřena zejména na lipana podhorního Thymallus thymallus. Ten je ohrožován konkurencí o potravu působením kaprovitých druhů, zejména jelce... River obstacles, especially dams, are known to alter the natural environment in streams, which significantly impacts fish communities. The cyprinid species migrate from the reservoirs upstream to the reservoir's tributaries, where they may cause changes in the trophic structure of native fish communities. The aim of this study was to evaluate the trophic structure of the fish community composed mainly of cyprinid and salmonid species throughout seven localities in the Vltava River upstream of the Lipno reservoir. Stable isotope analysis was used to identify trophic positions, trophic niche width and trophic niche overlap between species. Trophic relationships of individual species were then evaluated to assess the potential for food competition. The trophic niche width of the salmonid species was significantly higher than that of the cyprinid species. Trophic niche overlap between salmonids and cyprinids was observed, with the most significant overlap being with both common dace Leuciscus Leuciscus and common roach Rutilus rutilus, suggesting a potential competition for food. The effect of the presence of cyprinids on the trophic niche width of salmonids was shown not to be statistically significant.
