Přestože českému stavovskému povstání (1618-1620) byla již věnována v minulosti velká pozornost ze strany historiků, zůstává dosud mnoho okolností - zejména v oblasti mezinárodních vztahů - nejasných. K nim patří diplomatické kontakty mezi povstalci a Osmanskou říší. Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem jednání mezi kurfiřtem Fridrichem Falckým, který se v letech 1619-1620 stal českým králem, a Osmanskou říší. Snaží se zmapovat celé jednání od vyslání prvního poselstva Fridrichem Falckým do Konstantinopole, přes pobyt Mehmeda Agy v Praze na podzim 1620, konče druhým poselstvem do Konstantinopole v listopadu 1620. Práce si klade za cíl poodhalit vnější okolnosti, které měly vliv na rozhodování jednotlivých účastníků o zahraničně-politické strategii během povstání. V popředí pozornosti bude zejména úloha sedmihradského vévody a Polského království. Although the Bohemian Revolt (1618-1620) has received a great deal of attention from historians in the past, many circumstances - especially in the area of international relations - remain unclear. These include diplomatic contacts between the insurgents and the Ottoman Empire. The bachelor's thesis deals with the development of negotiations between the Prince- elector Fredrick V, who became King of Bohemia in the years 1619-1620, and the Ottoman Empire. Thesis tries to map the whole meeting from the sending of the first message by Fredrick V to Constantinople, through the stay of Mehmed Aga in Prague in autumn 1620, ending with the second message to Constantinople in November 1620. The work aims to reveal the external circumstances that affect the decision-making of individual participants about foreign policy strategies during the uprising. In particular, the role of the Prince of Transylvania and the Kingdom of Poland will be in the forefront.
