Sestra bez odborného dohledu může bez odborného dohledu na základě indikace lékaře aplikovat léčivé přípravky s výjimkou nitrožilních injekcí nebo infuzí u novorozenců a dětí do 3 let a s výjimkou radiofarmak. Tato činnost je upravena v legislativní vyhlášce 391/2017 Sb. Ministerstva zdravotnictví České republiky. Příprava a aplikace léčivého přípravku je nedílnou součástí každodenní praxe sestry, nicméně rozměr tohoto výkonu je velmi široký a nezačíná a nekončí pouze samotným podáním léčivého přípravku na základě ordinace lékaře. V širším pohledu jde o multioborový proces, na kterém se mohou podílet i další zdravotnické profese, které zde mají svou opodstatněnou roli. Určení jednotlivých rolí a spolupráce v multioborovém týmu složeném z lékaře, sestry a klinického farmaceuta má vliv na správnou farmakologickou léčbu nemocného. Ze všech profesí tráví sestra s pacientem nejvíce času. Přibližně 40 % ze své pracovní doby tráví přípravou a podáváním léčivých přípravků, a proto má obrovskou roli při snižování chyb a medikačních pochybení. (Miller et al., 2016). Cílem šetření je analyzovat současnou roli sestry při podávání léčivých přípravků z pohledu klinického farmaceuta. A general nurse may, without clinical supervision, administer medicinal products with the exception of intravenous injections (IV) or infusions in newborns and children under 3 years of age and with the exception of radiopharmaceuticals. This activity is regulated in Decree No. 55/2011 Coll. by Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The preparation and administration of the medicinal product is an integral part of the everyday practice of a l nurse; however, the dimensions of this procedure are very broad, and it does not start and end with the administration of the prescribed medicinal product. In the wider context, this is a multi-disciplinary process, in which other health professionals can participate with their well-founded roles. Determining individual roles and collaboration in the multi-disciplinary team composed of a doctor, a nurse and a clinical pharmacist has an effect on the correct pharmacological treatment of the patient. Of all professions, nurses spend time with patients. 40 % of their time administering medications; therefore, they play a key role in the reduction of medication errors. (Miller et all, 2016).
