Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl blíže představit německé idiomy obsahující názvy zvířat a porovnat je s jejich ekvivalenty v češtině na základě míry ekvivalence. Práce má teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se blíže věnuje frazeologii jako lingvistické disciplíně, její historii, rozdělení frazémů, nastínění míry ekvivalence a strategii překladu frazémů. Praktická část obsahuje konkrétní německé idiomy, sesbírané z lingvistického slovníku. Tyto zvolené idiomy rozděluje do skupin podle míry ekvivalence, nabízí k nim vhodný českým ekvivalent, popisuje jejich význam a ukazuje příklady užití těchto idiomů v kontextu. Tato práce zjistila, že převažují úplně ekvivalentní idiomy a tím potvrdila hypotézu, že mezi českými a německými idiomy s názvy zvířat panuje vysoká míra úplné ekvivalence. This bachelor thesis aims to introduce German idioms containing animal names and compare them with their equivalents in Czech on the basis of the degree of equivalence. The thesis has a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to phraseology as a linguistic discipline, its history, the division of phrasemes, the outline of the equivalence degree and the strategy of phraseme translation. The practical part contains specific German idioms, collected from linguistic dictionary. It divides these selected idioms into groups according to the degree of equivalence, offers a suitable Czech equivalent, describes their meaning and shows examples of the use of these idioms in context. This work found out that fully equivalent idioms predominate and thus confirmed the hypothesis that there is a high degree of full equivalence between Czech and German idioms with animal names.
