Bakalářská práce Časopis Praha v týdnu v letech 1940 - 1944 podává detailní charakteristiku regionálního týdeníku Praha v týdnu, který vycházel v Praze v letech 1940 - 1944. Jednalo se původně o programový přehled, z něhož se postupem času stalo periodikum společenské. Kromě aktuálních programů pražských divadel a biografů časopis přinášel i přehledy výstav a nejrůznějších společenských akcí, konaných v hlavním městě, informace o nových filmech, jejich recenze, rozhovory s umělci, zpočátku i oddechové články, později odborné úvahy z oblasti kultury. Práce si vytkla za úkol komplexně popsat obsah a vnitřní uspořádání týdeníku se zvláštním zřetelem na ročníky I, III a V, tedy roky 1940, 1942 a 1944, kde si analýza vedle autorů příspěvků a obsahu jednotlivých čísel všímá dále formy jeho zpracování, poměru německých témat k českým, přítomnosti propagandy a politicky zabarvených textů v kulturně-společenském, tedy v zásadě apolitickém periodiku, přičemž se tak snaží najít odpověď na otázku, nakolik se v případě Prahy v týdnu jedná vzhledem k období, ve kterém vycházela, o proněmeckou kolaborační tiskovinu. Samostatná kapitola je věnována historii periodika a vymezení jeho postavení ve struktuře pražského tisku, rovněž je zde, vzhledem k tomu, že časopis patřil do skupiny českého legálního tisku... Bachelor thesis "Magazine Prague in Week in 1940 - 1944"presents a detailed characteristic of a regional weekly Praha v týdnu (Prague in Week), which was published in Prague in 1940 - 1944. Initially a programme review, the magazine informed its readers about what's on in Prague theatres and cinemas, about held exhibitions as well as different social events. It also gave information on new films and brought their reviews as well as interviews with artists; at first bringing light topic articles but later on focusing more on specialised essays from the field of culture. The aim of the thesis was to give a complex description of the magazine content as well as its inner structure, placing special emphasis on the volumes I, III and V (1940, 1942, 1944). The analysis focuses on the editorial staff, content of the magazine and how this has been formed in the course of time, comparing further the number and relation of Czech and German topics appearing throughout the magazine, presence of propaganda and texts with a political tone within a cultural and social, and therefore apolitical periodical, thus trying to answer the question of to which extent Praha v týdnu was a pro-German or even collaborative paper with regard to the period in which it was published.
