V této práci se budeme věnovat náhodným procházkám s důrazem na vícerozměrné náhodné procházky. Zaměříme se zejména na problematiku návratu náhodné procházky do počátku ve dvou rozměrech a některé výsledky zobecníme i pro náhodnou procházku v libovolném rozměru. Konkrétně se budeme zabývat pravděpodobnosti návratu do počátku, pravděpodobnosti prvního návratu do počátku a očekávané době prvního návratu. V práci také nalezneme zákony arku-sinu a krátkou simulační studii věnovanou vícerozměrné verzi této prob- lematiky. 1 This thesis deals with random walks with emphasis on multivariate random walks. We focus mainly on return of the random walk to the origin in two dimensions. Some results are generalized in any dimension. Specifically we discuss the probability of return to the origin, probability of the first return to the origin and expected time of the first return. In the thesis we also find the arcsine laws and short simulation study focused on multivariate version of this topic. 1
