Abstract: The goal of this article is show two possible ways to calculate photovoltaic potential of a large area with a large amount of buildings. A medium-sized village under 3000 inhabitants was chosen to showcase where the two possible methods of evaluation were used. Photovoltaic potential was calculated for the roofs of buildings in selected area.
