Název: Environmentální dopady zimních olympijských her Cíle: Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zhodnotit dopad zimních olympijských her (ZOH) na životní prostředí a naopak. Práce je rozložena na tři části. První část má dílčí cíl reflektovat vývoj Olympijských her (OH) a strategií Mezinárodního olympijského výboru (MOV) k rozvoji udržitelných a ekologických ZOH. Druhá část je více přírodovědecky založená s cílem zachytit vývoj klimatu a využití technologií a jejich vliv na přírodu v souvislosti se ZOH. Poslední část má za úkol navrhnout několik možných scénářů o budoucím vývoji ZOH. Metody: V bakalářské práci jsou použity základní metody teoretické práce, tj. metody kompilace, analýzy a syntézy. Použité metody jsou detailněji popsány v kapitole Metodika. Výsledky: Výstupem je rešeršní práce hodnotící postoj MOV vůči změně klimatu, devastaci životního prostředí a vlivu změny klimatu na ZOH. Hodnocení bylo provedené na základě předpisů MOV a studia odborných článků o ekologické náročnosti zimních sportů. Závěr práce nabízí možné scénáře budoucnosti ZOH. Klíčová slova: Olympijské hry, životní prostředí, sportovní areály, vodní zdroje, klima Title: Environmental Impact of Olympic Winter Games Objectives: The objective of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the impact of Olympic Winter Games (OWG) on the environment and vice versa. The work is divided into three parts. The first part has a goal to reflect the development of OG and of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) strategies to sustainable and ecological OWG. The second part is more of natural science account climate development and the use of technologies and their impact on nature. The last part aims to suggest several possible scenarios about future development of OWG. Methods: In the bachelor thesis basic methods of theoretical work are employed, i.e. compilation methods, analysis and synthesis. The employed methods are described in more detail in the Methodology chapter. Results: The result is a research work evaluating the IOC's attitude to climate change and environmental devastation and the impact of climate change on OWG. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of the IOC regulations and a study of expert articles on the ecological demands of winter sports. The conclusion of the thesis offers possible scenarios about the future of the Olympic Games.
