Téma slučování práce a rodiny je v posledních desetiletí v Evropě velmi diskutované a jedním z hlavních důvodů je to, že v důsledku snižujícího se počtu lidí a stárnutí populace v Evropě je třeba vtáhnout do pracovního procesu co nejširší dostupnou populaci. Jednou z těchto populačně dostupných skupin jsou také matky resp. otcové starající se o dítě v útlém věku. Diplomová práce analyzuje nastavení rodinné politiky v ČR a její podporu v oblasti slučování rodinného a pracovního života. Analýza je prováděna na základě mezinárodního srovnávaní. Cílem práce je zhodnocení nastavení nejvíce relevantních nástrojů rodinné politiky, které napomáhají lidem v balancování rodiny a práce. Reconciling work and family life has been the topic of intense discussion in Europe over the past decade, in large part because the continent's declining and aging population makes it necessary to attract the widest possible range of European society into the labor force. One of the available segments comprises mothers and fathers with very young children. This thesis analyzes the formulation of family policy in the Czech Republic and its support in the aarea of reconciling family and professional life. The analysis herein is based on a comparison of international practices. The goal of this work is to evaluate the formulation of the relevant instruments of family policy that are intended to help people successfully balance family and work.
