Keywords: smoothing and optimization. Software that works with diffusion data is also covered in this thesis. Another part discusses quantitative and qualitative methods that compare the success of registrations. In the practical; the different procedures for coregistration are described. Qualitative assessment of the registration quality is shown in figures and a procedure for quantitative evaluation of image registration is proposed.; This bachelor’s thesis deals with the preprocessing of diffusion weighted MRI images based on coregistration of images with different contrast. Basic properties of diffusion data are presented in the beginning. In the following chapters it is focused on methods; transformation; which are removing motion distorion and geometrical inaccuracies.
