Práce se zabývá spokojeností a stabilitou manželství v letech 2005-2015 v České republice. Cílem je porovnat, zda má způsob seznámení (online, nebo offline) vliv na vnímanou spokojenost ve vztahu a jeho stabilitu vyjádřenou rozvodovostí. Teoretická část práce se věnuje atraktivitě, charakteristice spokojených párů, vývoji spokojenosti a dosavadním výzkumům online seznamování. Vlastní dotazníkové šetření bylo realizováno na online panelu respondentů, osloven byl reprezentativní vzorek české populace. Z celkem 316 respondentů se třetina se svým manželem (nebo manželkou) seznámila online (33 %). Z této skupiny se většina seznámila buď na seznamce (50 %) nebo sociální síti (17 %). Ti, kteří se seznámili online, byli ve vztahu v průměru mírně spokojenější, nicméně rozdíl není statisticky signifikantní. Také se rozváděli méně (26,5 %) než ti, kteří se seznámili offline (31 %), rozdíl však také není statisticky signifikantní (do rozvodů byly započítány i oddělené domácnosti). Rozdíly ve sledovaných proměnných ještě vzrostly, pokud byla online skupina omezena jen na ty, kteří se seznámili na online seznamce a sociální síti. Tato skupina také v průměru vnímala vyšší splnění své představy o životním partnerovi na začátku vztahu než offline skupina (p=0,041). Muži byli v manželství v průměru spokojenější než... The master thesis looks at marital satisfaction and stability in Czech marriages between 2005 and 2015. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether meeting your spouse online or offline affects marital satisfaction and break-up rate (separation and divorce). The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on attractiveness, the characteristics of a good relationship, the development of marital satisfaction and existing research on online dating. A nationally representative sample of 316 respondents provided answers in an online questionnaire. The results indicate that one in three Czech marriages now begin online. Half of the online group met on an online dating site and 17 % on a social media site. When compared to those that began offline, "online marriages" were slightly less likely to end up in a marital break-up (31 % offline, 26,5 % online) and reported slightly higher marital satisfaction. However, none of these differences were statistically significant. The differences were higher when the online group was narrowed down to the ones who met on an online dating site and on a social media site but remained statistically insignificant.
