Pcháč oset je vytrvalý hlubokokořenící plevel.Na zemědělské půdě způsobuje řadu problému:Konkuruje plodinám, ztěžuje sklizeň a snižuje kvalitu. Možnosti jeho regulace byly zkoumány v podniku V farma Křepiny. S ohledem na možnosti jeho regulace byly pokusy orientovány na chemickou regulaci v obilninách selektivními herbicidy během vegetace a neselektivními herbicidy před a po sklizni.Po plevelohubném zásahu byl monitorován úbytek rostlin pcháče osetu. Canada thistle is perennial deep-rooting weed.On the arable land there caused some problems:compete to cultivated crops, make more difficult harvest and lowers quality of products. Possibilities of control were evaluated at V farm Křepiny with respact to possibilities of chemical control. In cereal field were used selective and non-selektive herbicides during the vegetation period, before harvest and ofter harvest. Ofter herbicide control were evaluated decrease of Canada thistle plants.
