Abstrakt:Práce se zabývá Povstáním v Kwangdžu a érou osmdesátých let 20. století vKorejské republice a jejichinterpretací v umělecké literatuře, seriálech a filmech. Zabývá také proměnou ve výkladech událostipovstání vKwangdžu vmédiích a fiktivní tvorbě vprůběhu dalších desetiletí. Zvláštní pozornost je pakvěnována knize Někde zvoní telefon (Ǒdisŏnga narŭl čchatnŭn čŏnhwaberi ulligo) autorky Sin Kjŏngsuk.
