Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá řeckými chtonickými a podsvětními bohy, jejich kultem a především ikonografií. Záměrem je podat komplexní přehled o vybraných božstvech, jejich významu a roli v řecké mytologii a náboženství, popsat atributy a způsob jejich vyobrazení v řeckém umění. Práce se věnuje průběhu kultu chtonických a podsvětních bohů ve starověkém Řecku, jeho souvislostí s kultem mrtvých, pohřebními rituály, věštírnami mrtvých a magií, a také dochovanými archeologickými doklady podle současného stavu poznatků. Největší část práce je zaměřena na vytvoření celkového přehledu vybraného dochovaného ikonografického materiálu s vyobrazeními těchto bohů, systematizaci a analýzu jejich ikonografie. Mezi zkoumaný materiál patří zejména vázové malířství, které zahrnuje černofigurovou i červenofigurovou keramiku a bílé lékythy, dále kultovní a votivní plastika, včetně reliéfů a pinaků, a vzácněji i náhrobky, stély nebo jiné funerální památky. This bachelor thesis deals with the Greek chthonic and underworld gods, their cult and especially iconography. The intention is to give a comprehensive overview of selected deities, their meaning and role in Greek mythology and religion, to describe the attributes and the way they are depicted in Greek art. The thesis deals with the course of the cult of chthonic and underworld gods in ancient Greece, its connection with the cult of the dead, funeral rituals, oracles of the dead and magic, as well as preserved archaeological evidence according to the current state of knowledge. The largest part of the work is focused on creating a general overview of selected preserved iconographic material with depictions of these gods, systematization and analysis of their iconography. The researched material includes mainly vase painting, which includes black-figure and red-figure vases and white lekythoi, as well as cult and votive sculptures, including reliefs and pinaks, and more rarely tombstones, stelae or other funeral monuments.
