The aim of this work is to research differences in animal onomatopoeia in some Slavic languages, as well as the differences between the hearing perception of native speakers of different languages. The comparative picture of onomatopoeia is presented in three Slavic languages, two of them are East Slavic (Russian, Ukrainian) and one is West Slavic (Czech). The theoretical part is devoted to the research of onomatopoeia inclusion into the general language structure. The theory is based on a practical comparison of animal onomatopoeia. Key words: onomatopoeia, comparative analysis, Slavic languages, sounds of animals Cílem práce je výzkum rozdílů onomatopoie zvuků zvířat v některých slovanských jazycích, a také rozdíly mezi sluchovým vnímáním těchto zvuků mluvčími různých jazyků. Srovnání je provedeno ve třech slovanských jazycích, z nichž dva jsou východoslovanské (ruský, ukrajinský) a jeden je západoslovanský(če ský). Teoretickáčá st je věnována výzkumu problematiky inkluze onomatopoeie do obecné struktury jazyka. Teoretickáčá st je podložena praktickým porovnáním onomatopoie zvířat.
