Diplomová práce "Falešné zprávy: Způsoby posuzování a ověřování zpráv jejich příjemci" se v kontextu fenoménu falešných zpráv zabývá postupy vyhodnocování mediálních obsahů jejich příjemci a faktory, které na proces posuzování působí. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem lidé vnímají obsahy, které konzumují; co jejich vnímání ovlivňuje; a jaká jsou kritéria, která řídí jejich posuzování. V teoretické části je nejprve vymezen pojem falešné zprávy, mimo jiné také v souvislosti s nadužíváním pojmu fake news. V dalších kapitolách je poté přiblížena současná role médií a problematika důvěryhodnosti a důvěry v média. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje sociálním a psychologickým předpokladům, které mají vliv na uvažování a jednání příjemců. V druhé části jsou představena výzkumná východiska této práce. Výzkum je založen na kombinaci kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu. Kvalitativní přístup se zaměřuje na popis procesů a kritérií, které příjemci při posuzování a ověřování zpráv využívají. Sběr dat je proto realizován prostřednictvím osmi polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které jsou analyzovány metodou otevřeného kódování. Kvantitativní výzkumná část vychází z hypotéz o vlivu konfirmačního zkreslení (confirmation bias) na posuzování mediálních obsahů a je uskutečněna experimentálním šetřením založeném na... The diploma thesis "Fake News: Methods of assessing and verifying fake news by their recipients" is focused on the ways of evaluating media content by their recipients and the factors that affect the assessment process in the context of fake news phenomenon. The purpose of the thesis is to find out how people perceive the content they read; what affects their perception; and what are the criteria that govern their assessment. The theoretical part first defines the concept of fake (false) news, among other things in connection with the overuse of the term fake news. In the next chapters, the current role of the media and the issue of credibility and trust in the media are approached. The conclusion of the theoretical part discusses the social and psychological assumptions that affect the perception and actions of recipients. The second part presents the research background of this thesis. The research is based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative inquiry. The qualitative approach is focused on the description of the processes and criteria used by the recipients in assessing and verifying the news.
