Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je popis změn v oblasti poskytování rodičovského příspěvku v České republice, které nastaly v roce 2020, kdy vstoupila v účinnost nová legislativa. Rodičovský příspěvek je jednou z pěti dávek systému státní sociální podpory. Jedná se o jednu z nejdůležitějších dávek poskytovaných státem na podporu rodin. Proto je analýza této oblasti nejen zajímavá, ale i důležitá. Obsahem této práce bude mimo jiné popis dávek, které stát poskytuje na podporu ženám již v těhotenství ze systému nemocenského pojištění, z nichž nejvýznamnější dávku tvoří peněžitá pomoc v mateřství, na kterou vzniká nárok ženě po splnění zákonem stanovené doby pojištění. Dále je v této bakalářské práci popsána nejen organizace státní sociální podpory, jež je příslušná k vyplácení RP, ale i orgány působící v oblasti sociální politiky státu, jako je Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí, Česká správa sociálního zabezpečení a Úřad práce ČR. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to define changes in the field of parental allowance social benefits in Czech Republic, which happened in 2020, when the new legislation was implemented. Parental allowance is one of five social benefits provided by the system of state social support. It is one of the most important benefits given out by the state to support a family, that's the reason why this analysis is not only interesting, but is also important. This work will contain a description of social benefits, which are provided by the state to support women in pregnancy through the health insurance system from which the most important social benefit is maternity financial assistance, to which a woman is entitled after fulfilling statutory period of insurance. Further the bachelor thesis describes not just the organization of state social support, which supervises payments of parental allowance, but also authorities operating in the field of state social policy, such as Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Czech Social Security Administration and Labor Office of the Czech Republic.
