Práce zkoumá ty aspekty období normalizace v ČSSR a perestrojky v SSSR, které mohly zapříčinit destabilizaci vládnoucího režimu v Československu koncem 80. let v souvislosti s politikou Michaila Gorbačova. Cílem bylo posoudit, zda a jakým způsobem procesy probíhající v Sovětském svazu v éře perestrojky přispěly k pádu normalizačního vedení KSČ a komunistické strany jako totalitního mocenského mechanismu. This paper presents an enquiry into Soviet reforms under Gorbachev and Czechoslovak communist regime under Husak. The aim of the paper is to examine the possible influence of development in the USSR on the break-down of the Czechoslovak communist regime.
