This thesis focus on impact of drug trafficking on development of the San Martín region, Peru. It deals with the high rate of illegal coca cultivation with the apperance of guerrilla groups in the region. Possible way of solving this issue is included in the practical part of the thesis that consist of alternative development model. All of the information in thesis are based on a study of available literature and use of statistical data. Tato práce se zabývá dopadem obchodu s drogami na vývoj regionu San Martin, v Peru. Zabývá se vysokou mírou nelegálního pěstování koky s výskytem partyzánských skupin. Možný způsob, jak řešit tento problém je zahrnut v praktické části práce, ve které je vysvětlen alternativní rozvojový model. Všechny informace v bakalářské práci jsou zpracovány na základě studia dostupné literatury s použitím statistických údajů.
