[cze][eng] Spurná, L., Minimální mzda a míra nezaměstnanosti v České republice. Spurná, L., Minimum wage and rate of unemployment in the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. The aim of the thesis is to determine the effect of the minimum wage institute on unemployment rate in the Czech republic. The chosen model is solved in the statistical program Gretl by panel regression analysis. The real GDP, the number of economically active persons, the progressive taxation and the real minimum wage were chosen as explanatory variables. Statistical effect of the mandatory minimum wage on the unemployment rate in regions, the male unemployment rate and persons with basic education and persons with secondary education without a school leaving certificate has been proven by created models. The thesis will contribute to the discussion of the significance of the influence of the minimum wage on the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic.
