This thesis is to assess the image of Brno to foreigners living in Brno. The objectives of the thesis will be to look at the trend of foreigners’ intrusion to Brno, identify the image of Brno to foreigners, examine foreigners comment on their likelihood to live in Brno in the next decade and finally to make a recommendation towards the mar-keting of the image of Brno. Both qualitative and quantitative research was used: in-depth interviews and questionnaire survey (n =199). Most foreigners have great perception about Brno but there are still some suggested improvements to be worked on by city officials, e.g. use of English language by locals especially in the public offices and the keeping of the city clean. Tato práce má posoudit obraz Brna cizincům žijícím v Brně. Cílem diplomové práce bude sledovat trend pronikání cizinců do Brna, identifikaci obrazu Brna cizincům, zkoumání poznatků od cizinců o jejich pravděpodobnosti bydlení v Brně v příštím desetiletí a nakonec vypracování doporučení k marketingovému obrazu Brna. V této práci bylo použito jak kvalitativního, tak kvantitativního výzkumu: rozhovorů a dotazníkové šetření (n =199). Většina cizinců má skvělý pohled na Brno, ale stále existují návrhy na zlepšení, které musejí být zpracovány městskými úředníky, např. používání anglického jazyka úředníky zejména ve veřejných kancelářích a udržování čistoty města.
