Abstrakt: This contribution aims to unveil the backstage of preparation, writing and creation of a scientific publication using the example of the book titled Grey Literature Repositories, to be published towards the end of 2010. This paper will describe individual phases of coming into existence of a scientific publication, the work of the authors and the editor, but will also emphasize the importance of selecting a reliable publishing house, translator, book designer, etc. The aim of the presentation is to share the experience of producing a scientific publication.
