Cílem této bakalářské práce je kritický rozbor Hankovy bibliografie českých prvotisků za účelem vyhodnocení díla z hlediska relevance této bibliografické pomůcky a její porovnání se znalostmi současné české bibliografie. Na první pohled je zřejmé, že Hankův soupis je nekonzistentní co do rozsahu i obsahu každého bibliografického záznamu. Údaje v rozsahu oscilují mezi jedním řádkem a několika stránkami sazby, obsahově se rozcházejí od detailního zpracování po stručný název titulu. Při bližším průzkumu bylo skutečně zjištěno několik problematických bodů, které bibliografii ubírají na vážnosti relevantního zdroje. Jedná se především o neúplné údaje k existujícím exemplářům prvotisků a o nedostatečné citování sekundárních pramenů. Příjemce bibliografie je tak nucen sám vyhledávat informace i v jiných zdrojích. Při srovnání s dalšími bibliografiemi pak bylo zkonstatováno i několik chybějících bibliografických položek. The aim of this bachelor thesis is a critical analysis of the Czech incunabula bibliography compiled by the Czech bibliographer Václav Hanka, its evaluation as a relevant bibliographical tool and drawing a comparison between Hanka's work and the findings of the current Czech bibliography. As for the extent and content of all bibliographical records, it is clear that Hanka's listing is inconsistent. The length of the records ranges from one line to several pages, the content varies from a short entry and a very detailed information. On closer inspection, several problems were found that diminish its value as a reliable bibliographical source: incomplete details pertaining to existing copies of incunabula and insufficient information about secondary sources. Whoever uses the bibliography thus also has to search for information in other sources. Comparison with other bibliographies reveals several missing items in Hanka's bibliography.
