Cílem práce je v první řadě konstrukce transversálních tabulek plodnosti podle metodologie Human Fertility Database a výpočet různých typů ukazatelů z jednotlivých tabulkových funkcí. Metoda je ilustrována na analýze regionální diferenciace plodnosti ve Španělsku v letech 1981, 1991, 1999 a 2011. První část práce je věnována teoretickému kontextu vývoje plodnosti ve studovaném regionu, načež je přistoupeno k části zabývající se daty, na nichž je analýza stavěna, později k popisu metody samotné, po čemž přichází na řadu interpretace výsledků. Bylo zjištěno, že pomocí transversálních tabulek plodnosti lze počítat nejen sumární index plodnosti očištěný od vlivu paritní a věkové struktury a tabulkový průměrný věk při narození dítěte, ale i různé pravděpodobnosti přechodů mezi paritními stavy, stejně jako další ukazatele, které bylo možné uplatnit, díky možnosti hlubší desagregace populací ve výpočtovém modelu. Hlavní výsledky, k nimž se aplikací metody dospělo, přinesly hned několik zajímavých zjištění. Jedním z nich je skutečnost, že rozdíly napříč regiony se v průběhu let ve Španělsku snižovaly, ale v jisté podobě stále přetrvávaly, neboť regiony se spíše vyšší plodností byly i v roce 2011 koncentrovány spíše na jihu země. Tyto regiony byly charakteristické frekventovaněji vyskytujícími se přechody žen k... The aim of the thesis is to construct period fertility tables according to Human Fertility Database methodology and different kinds of fertility indices, which are possible to derive from fertility table's functions. The method is then used when analysing regional differences in fertility behaviour among Spanish regions in 1981, 1991, 1999 and 2011. The study begins with a general overview of fertility trends in Spain. Then, the data part follows. Next, the methodology is discussed and some table's indices, which Human Fertility Database does not provide, are constructed. Following chapters focus on application of the method to real data. It was found out, that with the help of period fertility tables one can calculate not only the age and parity adjusted total fertility rate and the table mean age at birth, but also various transition probabilities between parity states and as well as other measures. All this could be done due to the possibility of deeper disaggregation of the table population. The main results obtained by applying the method brought several interesting findings. Most importantly, differences across regions in Spain have been disappearing over the years, but they still persist in some form, as regions with a higher fertility rate were concentrated in the southern part of the country in...
