Abstract: The aim of the work is to design a low power GPS locator which will serve as a security device for location tracking and checking vehicles status. The designed device will be able to identify unauthorised manipulation of the vehicle and warn a user through SMS message. The device will be sending some information from GPS module in case of a theft regularly. The design is focused on the lowest current consumption, wide range of operating temperatures and reliability.
