Abstract: This paper deals with design, manufacturing and measurement of fiber-optic temperature sensor based on Fabry Perot interferometer. Benefits and problems regarding fiber-optic sensors are discussed. There is brief description of method used for temperature sensor interogation. The main part of the sensor contains miniature capillary made from borosilicate glass. Sample of fabricated sensor is calibrated using reference temperature measurement and tested.
