Abstract: Faults in the electrical wiring can cause fatal problems in particular application. Therefore various Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery techniques have been developed, able to detect these faults. Such Defects may occure on a coaxial cable lines in radar systems between transmitter (receiver) and antenna. The aim of this paper is to present simulations of sequence time-domain reflectometry method. The results indicate suitability of this method for transmission lines terminated with radar antenna and capability of reliable soft faults detection (short and open circuit).
