Nanočástice představují potenciální riziko pro životní prostředí, mezi jehož složky patří i půda. V minulosti byly publikovány práce, které potvrdily negativní efekty nanočástic na půdní biotu, avšak studie zabývající se vlivem nanočástic na vlastnosti půdy jsou prozatím omezené. Proto se tato práce zabývá efektem 20 nm velkých nanočástic oxidu titaničitého na vlastnosti vody v půdní organické hmotě při různých relativních vlhkostech vzduchu, jimž byla půda vystavena. Při 43, 70 a 95 % převládají v půdě různé typy vody, tj. voda adsorbovaná na organickou hmotu, voda ve vodních molekulových můstcích a fázová voda. Pro studium vlivu nanočástic na vodu v půdní organické hmotě byla využita diferenční kompenzační kalorimetrie (DSC). Bylo zjištěno, že nanočástice snižují stabilitu vodních molekulových můstků při 70% relativní vlhkosti vzduchu a obecně snižují výparnou entalpii vody, která je mírou schopnosti půdy zadržovat vodu. Dále byl pozorován vliv na celkovou vodu v půdě. Při nízkých relativních vlhkostech byly zjištěny rozdílné účinky rutilu a anatasu v důsledku jejich různé hydrofility. U vyšších relativních vlhkostí tento efekt zanikal. Jako poslední byla změřena entalpie tání ledu a výparná entalpie vody roztoků nanočástic pro potvrzení efektu nanočástic na vodu. U entalpie tání ledu došlo ke zvýšení hodnoty v porovnání s čistou vodou, zatímco u výparné entalpie došlo ke snížení hodnot, což potvrdilo účinek nanočástic jak na čistou vodu, tak i na vodu v půdě. Previous works have been focused on negative effects of nanoparticles on soil biota, however studies about the influence of nanoparticles on soil properties are still limited. This thesis investigates an impact of 20 nm titanium dioxide nanoparticles on selected water properties in soil organic matter exposed to air with various relative humidity. Indeed, at 43, 70 and 95 % dominate different water types, i.e. water adsorbed on soil organic matter, water in water molecular bridges and phase water, respectively. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used in the study. An important finding is that nanoparticles reduce the stability of water molecular bridges under 70% relative air humidity and generally reduce evaporation enthalpy of water, which represents the ability of the soil to retain water. In the next part the influence of nanoparticles on total water in soil was observed. Under low relative humidity, rutile and anatase affected soil in different ways due to their various hydrophilicity. Under higher relative humidity this effect disappeared. In the last part, ice melting and water evaporation enthalpies of nanoparticle solutions were measured to confirm the presumed effect of nanoparticles on water. The ice melting enthalpy of the solutions was higher relatively to pure water, while the evaporation enthalpy showed a reverse trend (decrease). This confirmed the effects of nanoparticles both for pure water and soil water.
