This bachelor thesis consists of three parts - the introduction, the translation of the first act of William Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope and stylistic analysis of the translation. The first part focuses on the introduction of the three works related to the topic of this thesis - William Shakespeare's Hamlet, the film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, and Ian Doescher's book. The practical part consists of the original text and its back-to-back Czech translation. The third part is an analysis of the translation, namely those passages that are challenging in terms of linguistic finesse and idiosyncratic style. Tato bakalářská práce se skládá ze tří částí - úvodu, překladu prvního jednání hry Hvězdné Války Williama Shakespeara: A Vskutku, Nová Naděje a stylistické analýzy překladu První část se zaměřuje na představení tří děl spojených s tématem této práce - Hvězdné Války Epizoda IV: Nová Naděje a. Praktická část se skládá originálního textu a jeho odpovídajícímu překladu do češtiny. Třetí část je analýzou autorčina překladu, zejména jeho lingvisticky signifikantních pasáží a stylotvorných prostředků
