Experimental setup for spectroscopic measurements of molecular radicals at low temperatures is presented. Radicals are created in a DC discharge and cooled by supersonic expansion. Absorption spectroscopy in the near IR region is used to probe the neutral transient species formed in the discharge, using tuneable extended cavity diode lasers. Initial characteristics of the radical source are presented; discharge current-voltage characterization, molecular OH radical concentrations and temperature were measured. Příspěvek popisuje experimentální uspořádání pro spektroskopická měření molekulárních radikálů za nízkých teplot. Radikály jsou tvořené ve stejnosměrném elektrickém výboji a následně chlazené v supersonické expanzi. Absorpční spektroskopie v blízké IČ oblasti je použita pro detekci neutrálních reaktivních meziproduktů tvořených ve výboji s pomocí laditelných diodových laserů s vnějším rezonátorem. Představujeme charakteristiky tohoto radikálového zdroje; jednak volt-ampérové charakteristiky výboje a také měření koncentrací a teploty generovaných OH radikálů.
