Metodika je zaměřena na preventivní ochranu a průzkum polyesterových laminátových soch umístěných v ex-teriéru. V úvodu metodiky je stručně popsána historie vývoje a užití poly¬esterových pryskyřic na území ČSR. Dále jsou popsána charakteristická poškození vyskytující se na lamináto¬vých sochách. V další části jsou uvedeny metody a postupy terénního a laboratorního průzkumu laminátových soch, což je dokladováno příkladovými studiemi. V závěru metodiky jsou diskutovány vhodné metody preventivního konzervování a ochrany pro maximální prodloužení životnosti laminátových soch. The methodology is focused on preventive protection and exploration of polyester laminate sculptures placed in exterior. The introduction of the methodology briefly describes the history of development and use of polyester resins in Czechoslovakia. The characteristic damage occurring on laminate sculptures was described. The next part presents methods and procedures of field and laboratory research of laminate sculptures, which is evidenced by example studies. At the end of the methodology, suitable methods of preventive preservation and protection are discussed to maximize the lifetime of laminate sculptures.
