Diplomová práce s názvem "Osobnost učitele v pojetí studentů" je rozdělena na dvě části - část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na osobnost učitele. Popisuje některé typologie osobnosti učitele, jednotlivé etapy učitelské profese, vybrané faktory, které osobnost učitele ovlivňují. Druhá kapitola je orientována na roli učitele, na náplň jeho pracovní činnosti, na pracovní zátěž, která je s touto profesí spojena a také na téma syndromu vyhoření. Třetí kapitola se poměrně stručně věnuje tématu pedagogické komunikace a pygmalionskému efektu. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá vztahem učitel - žák. Snaží se popsat specifika a význam tohoto vztahu, jaké faktory tento vzájemný vztah ovlivňují a co může pedagog udělat pro to, aby byl tento vztah dobrý. V druhé, empirické části, se práce věnuje shrnutím poznatků kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován mezi studenty ve formě dotazníků. Cílem této výzkumné práce je zjistit, jak studenti nahlíží na osobnost učitele. Čeho si na učitelích nejvíce váží, co je pro ně u učitelů důležité a naopak, co jim u učitelů nejvíce vadí. Výzkumné šetření se dále zabývá tím, jak se toto hodnocení liší u studentů podle jejich věku a podle jejich pohlaví. Metodami vyhodnocení dat byly zvoleny statistická metoda... The Master thesis with the name "Personality of a Teacher in Students' Perception" is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the personality of a teacher. It describes some typologies of a teacher's personality, individual stages of the teaching profession and selected factors influencing the teacher's personality. The second chapter describes the role of a teacher, the content of his work, and the occupational load which is connected to the teaching profession. Further, it addresses teachers dealing with the burnout syndrome. The third chapter briefly presents the topic of pedagogical communication and the Pygmalion effect. The fourth chapter examines the student - teacher relationship. It aims to describe the characteristics and the significance of this relationship, by which factors it is influenced and what a pedagogue can do for a good relationship. In the second, empirical part, this thesis presents the findings' summary of a quantitative research, which was carried out among students in the form of questionnaires.
