- PROCESNÍ POSTAVENÍ MEZINÁRODNÍCH NEVLÁDNÍCH ORGANIZACÍ PŘED MEZINÁRODNÍMI LIDSKOPRÁVNÍMI SOUDY Postavení mezinárodních nevládních organizací v systému mezinárodního práva, popřípadě jejich postavení před konkrétními mezinárodními institucemi, je tématem, kterému mezinárodněprávní nauka nevěnuje příliš pozornosti. Tato diplomová práce se tak snaží představit, jakou roli mezinárodní nevládní organizace v mezinárodním prostoru hrají, a specificky se poté zaměřuje na procesní role, ve kterých mohou vystupovat v evropském a meziamerickém systému ochrany lidských práv. Práce je rozdělena do 3 hlavních částí a několika kapitol. První část se zabývá historií mezinárodních nevládních organizací a vymezením tohoto pojmu. V rámci vymezení pojmu je představeno a zhodnoceno několik definic a pro účely práce také odlišení mezinárodních nevládních organizací od nadnárodních korporací. Prozkoumáno je poté postavení mezinárodních nevládních organizací jako případných subjektů mezinárodního práva a jejich role v ochraně lidských práv, což reflektuje téma práce. Druhá část se poté věnuje jednotlivým rolím mezinárodních nevládních organizací před vybranými soudy. V první kapitole je rozebrán institut amicus curiae včetně jeho právního zakotvení v systémech obou soudů a praktického využívání. Tato kapitola pak... - PROCEDURAL STATUS OF INTERNATIONAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS BEFORE INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COURTS The position of international NGOs within the system of international law or specifically their position before individual international bodies is a topic that the international law theory does not consider very much. Hence, this master's thesis aims to present what role do the international NGOs play in the international arena and particularly places the focus on the procedural roles they may take upon in the european and the inter-american human rights systems. The thesis is divided into 3 main parts and several chapters. The first part deals with the history of international NGOs and delimiting the term. Regarding the latter several definitions are presented and assessed and the differences between the international NGOs and transnational corporations are drawn. The thesis then explores the position of international NGOs as subjects of international law and their role in human rights protection which reflects the topis of the thesis. The second part is devoted to particular roles of international NGOs before the selected courts.
