cze Abstract:
[cze][eng] Text se zabývá vztahem mezi oblastmi lidové hudby, populární hudby a tzv. world music a nejasnými hranicemi mezi nimi. Především termín world music je užíván v různých významech a k označování rozdílných hudebních forem. Navzdory jeho praktičnosti coby marketingového nástroje, jeho užitečnost při diskuzích o hudbách různých kultur světa je značně omezenáThis text deals with the relations among the spheres of folk or ethnic music, popular music and so-called world music at a time when the borderlines between individual spheres are often not sharp. In practice, the term "world music" is used with different meanings and it covers big quantity of diverse music. Because of this, this term is applicable as a marketing tag identifying the records for possible customers; it is, however, unsuitable if it is to serve as a basis for the discussion about musics of different cultures and their transformation in today’s world
