Diplomová práce představuje využitelnost nového termosetického materiálu BMC pro konstrukci světlometu automobilu. V teoretické části jsou popsány světlomety, základní charakteristiky a vlastnosti plastů s důrazem na polymerní kompozitní materiály a oblasti testování materiálu. Praktická část se zabývá zpracováním testovacích vzorků pro mechanické zkoušky lisováním a také výrobou reálných vzorků reflektorů a nosných rámů metodou vstřikování. Vyhodnocení se zakládá na porovnání výsledků provedených zkoušek alternativního materiálu a aktuálně používaného materiálu BMC TETRADUR TD 492/2 v obchodní společnosti HELLA Autotechnik Nova s.r.o. Sledovány jsou základní fyzikálně-mechanické vlastnosti jako je pevnost, tuhost, houževnatost a tvrdost. Reflektory a nosné rámy jsou smontovány do světlometu a následně zkoušeny dle zákonných a zákaznických požadavků na klimatickou a vibrační odolnost a fotometrii. The diploma thesis presents the usability of a new thermosetting material BMC for the construction of a car headlight. In the theoretical part there are described headlights, basic characteristics and properties of plastics focussing on polymer composite materials and material testing. The practical part deals with the processing of test samples for mechanical testing by compression moulding and also with the production of real samples of reflectors and carrier frames by injection moulding. The evaluation is based on comparison of the results of the performed tests of alternative material and the currently used BMC TETRADUR TD 492/2 in HELLA Autotechnik Nova s.r.o. Basic physical-mechanical properties such as strength, stiffness, toughness and hardness are tested and monitored. The reflectors and carrier frames are assembled into the headlight and then tested according to legal and customers´ requirements for climate and vibration resistance and photometry.
